So Basically What Is Whey ?
whey is one of the two proteins found in milk,the other one being casein whey protein is majorly used as a food supplement to target one's daily protein requirement.So chill guys it's just a diary product.



How It's Made ?
whey protein is produced during the process of making cheese which begins when certain enzymes are added to milk,causing it to separate out into it's constituent parts,one of them being curd.then curd is used to make cheese leaving behind WHEY PROTEIN in the liquid portion.



 Types of whey protein-


  • The Whey CONCENTRATE - it's not the purest form and moreover is cheaper than whey isolate.This is most common whey used by masses.It contains 29%- 80% protein by weight and its main goal is to maximize muscle hypertrophy.

  •   Whey ISOLATE (WPI) -When concentrate whey is filtered further a little more lactose,carbohydrates and fats can be removed giving us a more refined protein ranging from 90-95% protein by weight and this whey is termed whey isolate.It's expensive than whey concentrate.


  • Whey HYDROLYZED-In simple words it's the more smaller and faster version of the whey concentrate.whey concentrate breaks into finer fragments through enzymatic hydrolysis.This type of protein is predigested.It's more expensive.
